I have on occasions toyed with lamprey sections for barbel, but usually use a wire trace as pike are around.
I have heard of other materials that are resistant to pike, but are less obvious than wire, and hoped some one could suggest some alternatives.
Any comments on how Quicksilver or catfish kevlar would perform and their relative visibility v's a wire trace?
