A tin of dog food punctured and tied to a rope can be placed in the margins to draw the attention of crayfish.
Anyone actually do this?, Had any success with it?.

Anyways, how are you Adam, hope things are well. ive considered the idea, but have always come to the conclusion that if im going to introduce a scent trail, i may as well have a hookbait at the end of it!! i have hardly had any trouble from crays this season, to be honest, these days they slip my mind most of the time! |

I wonder how many tins of dog-food are going to be left in the river to rust away
Unfortunately barbel fishing seems to have had a disproportionately high number of cynics who disparage other peoples captures. They are so sad. - Andy Orme
