Morrisons have a good stock of the "black pepper" spam at the moment , but tescos don't seem to have it at all .I am going to the tescos warehouse tomorrow and will see what they have and where its going !!!

..and I can tell ya the black pepper stuf stinks!
 ,but when we were all struggling on the swale last month on the pastes,pellets etc, a big 3 inch block of that did the trick !every time......until last week, think its blown....  Karl

I bought half a tray of the "Black Pepper" from my local Sainsbury's a few weeks ago.
It did the trick for me yesterday! I also found some cheap Austrian garlic sausage recently, so greedily snapped up half a dozen rolls of it, and wow, is it strong!  I'm sure that Barbel will go crazy for it - as soon as i can find a way to make it sink!!

just got a can of both,garlic and black pepper.

go to asda chaps black pepper and smelly garlic only £1.38p each and have both in my usual store in bishop auckland been trying to get the spicy one but aint found it yet

I dont think i'll have a problem nibling at bits of garlic spam when the sarnies run out. Wonder if they'll be bringing out a french cheese or red wine flavour sometime soon!!
 Ive found the black pepper spam a great bait in winter and look forward to trying the garlic version which my misses reckons she's seen in ASDA at £1.38. Just realised thats nearly 40p a fish. Wurzel http://www.barbelzone.co.uk/

My wife get's embarrassed when I ask her to put four tins of Spam in the weekly shop - I suspect she thinks she is being watched by the though police wondering what diet she has our kids on .... 40p a fish Paul, which way do you slice 3 vertical strips or two horzontal and one vertical? I tend to do one horizontal cut to get two big bits and then break on in half - fish the two smaller bits first and save the big bit for the last cast  Cheers
