everytime i go fishing anyway the converstion some point in nite always comes to this . when is the severn threds goin to be split up to lower, middle and upper are people to afraided that it will limit there space i.e so were they are fishing . the other big rivers have theres split up so y cant we.

Personally don't really want to. The Thames doesn't get split. We are all one big happy Severn family, united together through good times and bad, united in support, united in jubilation, united, occasionally, in grief

Totaly agree Mark. the Severns the severn, splitting it up would only complicate things for first time visitors.

Don't split it. No one will agree on the boundaries anyway. Where would upper severn be? - upstream of shrewsbury? Is the lower severn the tidal stretch?
I can see the point about splitting tidal versus non-tidal trent but what is the middle trent? Newcomers will be posting everywhere - the reports section is broad enough already what with the odd severn Bridgnorth thread etc. Plus you will need Severn estuary when someone can figure that one out. - Dr Barbus |
