Drennan float fish for me. Very easy to mend.

Clarkes Match Team. For average sized Severn Barb's, I use it in 6.6lb and 7.9lb. Used it for years (formally known as Silstar Match Team). Its classed as a high tech low diameter line, but still has excellent stretch and memory.

I've got to agree with twitcher, 'Clarkes match team' it the biz when it comes to float fishing for barbel. I use 7.9lb b.s. and it's never let me down.
