Personally, i think my posts are quite intelligent thinking and do not take everything Graham say's or fails to say as totally valid, according to APH's and other alternative posts. Some can see through the smoke screen, whilst others close their eyes. Whoever gave Graham the nickname 'Silver Fox' on BFW? Classic!! Trenty Trenty Vision

I was asked today to attend the Police Staion as my attacker had made allegations regarding the first incident. This subsequent to his arrest and admittance of guilt over the second incident. I was surprised to find that I was arrested, as the police have a responsibility to investigate all complaints. I was also surprised to find that my attacker had obtained details of the the statements made to the Chairman at the First TDFC meeting. (I never was allowed to see them) Including Ms. Howards. I was also very pleased. The Police investigated my attackers allegations, and those that were submitted to TDFC against me. The Police investigated my statements (the ones that were not allowed to be shown to TDFC) Result No Crime Committed by me. No further action. So.......This, many would believe totally exonerates me from any attacks. After a full Police investigation. I guess you might think it would follow that the TDFC Committee would want to re-examine the case. In the light of this information?? Don't hold your breath! Graham

Posts: 4258 (08/08/06 22:43) More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I have obtained details of the EGM minutes where many TDFC Committee members have alleged here and on the TDFC website that I proposed changes to the Constitution to allow the Committee to impose Rule changes. I had though myself this subject was covered at that time. No mention of rule changes was made at the stated EGM. The EGM covered Subscriptions and setup of Trustee status for the Club I have also copies from the Secretary at the time, Ed Millie of all relevant meetings and AGM's of the same period. Still looking. To date I cannot find where the Constitutional change relating to imposed rules was voted on by the members. It might be that it was never actually voted on. I am still looking. Lots of information. I will update. Graham

Thanks all for comments. Cheers John. I am probably taking that step next. Regards damage to my reputation and business. The Police investigation/outcome underlines the case very strongly. I am fortunate that a previous customer (not on TDFC waters) who is a TDFC member has offered me a substantial sum of money at no cost to bring the case. I intend to send a message to the Chairman first asking him to use his good offices to try and get my attacker to admit his actions and probably get a lesser sentence than imposed and avoid my civil action. He has a chance. I doubt he will use it. As a Trustee I cannot bring a case against TDFC regarding their part in the situation unless I resign. However, they will be involved in the civil legal arguments and need to explain their actions and procedures. It's not what I wanted. I also have so far declined an Angling Times Offer to give them details of the situation. Meanwhile, still cannot yet find in all the AGM/ EGM minutes of the time any member vote on the rule change procedure from 2-1 member majority to the imposed Committee rule. Maybe it was simply added with a Membership book update without consultation or membership approval?? Graham

Posts: 6 (09/08/06 09:11) More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	In the light of the recent developments we would like to remind you that a growing numbers of TDFC members intend to call for an E.G.M. to propose a vote of no confidence in the current Committee and if successful to propose the following: a) To put forward for selection at the E.G.M. an alternative experienced Committee that will include some of the recently resigned Committee members. b) For the newly elected Committee to ask members to vote for a change in the Constitution, that would require that all Club rule changes are subject to a vote by the members, rather than being imposed by the Committee. c) For the newly elected Committee to review the recent bans imposed on two members. The list of members who have offered their support grows by the day. However, we need the maximum possible number of members to ensure this is a democratic process. If you support this approach, and have not already emailed us, then we would be grateful if you could contact us on the following email address indicating whether you are a full or associate member: tdfc_members@hotmail.co.uk Details of all members will be treated in confidence. I have only made references to what was in your statement that was read out. Thank you for confirming that you accept that my wifes statement as being the truth as in It she clearly states that she saw you assault Dave. Despite your insistence that your statement was not heard by the committee it was read out to the committee by Simon Barnard (which is minuted) and, as previously stated, all submitted correspondence was tabled. You cannot start blaming the committee for your inadequacy in not providing witness statements. As stated before I would have expected you to obtain your own witness statements and submit them.
