I have been reading this thread with interest for the past few days and cant believe how it has gone. From Mark warning people about the dangers of meat tins we have had name calling, issues about drug users, speeding, people being named as litter louts etc etc. Come on guys lighten up

Couldn't agree more Albert, especially since all he has been through lately, he has given me no end of advice in the past and still retains his sense of humour, a top bloke and a credit to this website, he's what BFW should be all about.

No tins allowed.....
What a completely pathetic rule, once again forced upon us by the 'Dumbass*s' who inhabit this earth who don't have the intelligence to: a) Not leave the tin on the bank b) Can't open the tin without cutting themselves I can't believe (b) is the reason. That is like saying no one is allowed to pick up a knife at the dinner table in fear that they might stab themselves. A complete joke of a rule where 'normal people' (if you like that phrase) have to suffer due to 'simpletons' . |

Of course I am knocking the '@#%$' who leave their rubbish behind, here. everyone cuts themselves now and again, but it is obviously wrong to stop other people 'opening tins' because others cut themselves.
I always take tins along with me and open them, and leave them in my bag. Anyone who *wants* to go through my bag will be disappointed. No tins allowed does not apply to me because I ahve been bought up correctly (luckily for me) , and *have a clue* . Sad. |

Last season I took my sons angling on the River avon, due to some inconsiderate litter louts he received a nasty gsh on his left hand which neede hosptal treatment. no tins left on the banks, please.
