Stumbled across the Okuma Epix Pro Baitfeeder, which looks the nuts. But before I part with 80 smackers I thought I would see if any of you guys have first hand experience with these reels. If so, are they value for money? Also what model would be best for Barbel fishing, the 30, 40 or 50? Thanks for any replies. Paul

I dont know how good they are for barbel though as ive only caught two and they were in the winter so didnt fight that hard, but they are very good with carp. I love Okuma all but one of my reels are okuma and the one which isnt im replacing with a epix pro . Also you can get them for around 60-70 quid now, shop around

Posts: 704 (02/06/06 18:38) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Well mine was bought for carp but i use it more barbel (or will do in 2 weeks!!!!) so ive got the 50, but thats good for barbel as well as i fish the trent so need a big reel. If its a big river go with the 50 but i wouldnt want to go lower than 40 personaly.
