Now relocated in Sheffield,could anybody please give me any advice on barbel rivers in this area.

Hi Dylan (?) Youll find you get a better response if you fill in your profile mate.
Anyway, as John says, the Trent is a good bet as theres plenty of day ticket water to go at. Some of the places are disgusting tips but thats the way of the world these days unfortunately. Also, your local Don and Dearne have some good fishing (not fished them myself) and the better known Yorkshire rivers (Wharfe, Nidd, Ouse, Swale and Ure) are only a short drive up the M1. I suggest a trawl through the archived river threads might be an idea. Alternatively PM me or send a mail (on my profile) for more info. Cheers Dave |
