Brian
I don't believe they are necessarily the same since CSL Pellets are labelled as that and likely to have no list of ingredients. Ewe nuts come in different strengths, and I worry about two things. One is that due to them being cheap some people, and I'm not inferring or suggesting you are one of them, may use them a bit unsparingly Having said that I am not a chemist, but have been using them for a few years now, but only in a feeder and never balled in (to use a known phrase) If given a choice of strengths, whatever the salient components (bad phrase?) then opt for the lowest. paul4 |

CountryWide is the place to go and get a 5litre bottle of molasses to steep it all in. I think the pig pellets are the same as well just bigger.

Brian - also look at Sugarbeet/ molasses pellets, pig nuts, horsenuts, and even other birdfeeds.
Paul - I am fairly certain they are the same thing rebranded. I have compared them in my hand and they are identical, in smell, texture etc. I also do not believe that CSL pellets are made for fishing - there would not be enough of a market for them. I swear one of my pond Koi said baaaaaa earlier Definitely not made for fishing but as I said, without a list of ingredients you cannot be sure. Whereas "my" ewe nuts mention lambing and that is pretty clear paul4 |

The only thing I was warned about on someEwe Nut's, was the Copper content.
I understand this is harmful to Invertebrates, but I suspect that you would need to use a vast amount to do any damage. But as said above, been cheap it could be a temptation. Steve Out of the darkness, cometh the light.
