We (myself and Rob Perry) have secured the rights to 1 mile+ of the Lower Severn, on the West bank, a short way above Tewksbury.
The stretch is the "old" Barbel Society water at Bushley.
We are looking for a maximum of 15 anglers to form a small friendly (and relatively cheep) syndicate on the wonderful stretch of the Severn.
This water has not been fished for a few years, but has produced some very big Barbel in the past, as well as Carp, Pike, Zander etc.
It isn't an "easy" stretch, with depths from 9-16ft deep (at normal river level), but it is reported to produce Barbel averaging 9lb (ish), and a good number of doubles.
Night fishing IS permitted.
We have a secured a 3 year agreement, which offers good safe parking only a few hundred yards from the river, behind a padlocked gate.
If anyone is interested, and requires more information on the syndicate, please contact me (Steve Williams) via Email steve.williams@katollmetals.co.uk or by private Ezboard message (click on my name).
Thanks,
Steve and Rob
