Babel Fishing - are they the ones you put in your ear and translate for you?

Try Jas on the dark side.
He holds the river record (still I think) and he is happy to talk to anyone who doesnt take them selves too seriously. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach that man to fish and he will buy a silly hat. Toodle Pip Kevin. |

Tower
![]() By three methods we may learn the wisdom to catch barbel: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.-(Apologies to Confucius!) |

Getting to the top of that tower seems a monumental task, a bit like trying to catch a barbel on the Nene. New approach come the new season. Managed 11 fish this season with only one double. Not caught since early November. They are in there because I've seen them, 3 doubles sat next to each other like sardines in a tin.
Don't bother asking Jason because he can only catch chub at the moment, and he now lives on the Ouse of all places Bob |

Yes Bob But the dark side is strong. It will trap the weak and unwary.

sorry, I saw babel and it connected in my head...
hope you get some success, I've fished the nene it's got cracking specimens in it, though I might agree I'm unsure as to why it can be classed as a hard boris river. |
