If they are real, are they any good? As opposed to normal unhooking mats. I know that camping mats for sleeping are available as self inflating. My current mat is getting a little worn, it doubles up as my seat, so a new one would be a a good idea for everyone involved. As I'm perminently mobile the more portable gear is the better. Ken

I had been trying to make one out of a pool lilo covered in rapid dry epoxy. 2 part epoxy mind you wrapped then in waterproof cotton wool. It didn't work. Having said that, I'm sure someone sells them...
