River Teme Holiday |
Lead | |
|
Hi all, I'm wanting to take a trip down to the Teme, for a spot of fishing, unfortunately her in doors has got wind of it and has decided that we should go together, plus the dog, oh joy. Anyway I was hoping that one of you lot could direct me to some good dog friendly accommodation in the area and possibly point me in the direction of some good day ticket fishing.
Many thanks Rich |

Yeah i was thinking about the BAA waters but i have no idea where to go really, I was thinking of Eastham Bridge, Cotheridge or Stanford Bridge.

Stanford can get very busy in holiday periods,(the busiest BAA Teme stretch in my experience). Cotheridge I haven't fished but others on here have. PM me if you fish Eastham Bridge. I live 15 min away and know it well.

Hi
BAA is your best bet for day tickets though there is the Worcester City ticket as well as a couple of others. Have found Cotheridge can get a little too busy for my liking... With respect.... |

Click on the 'links' tab at the top of the page and have a look under fishing clubs. You should find a link to Clethill Fishery. Not sure if it might be a bit too fishing orientated if you're bringing the wife along too?? If so, a BAA ticket and a guesthouse should see you fine. Feel free to drop me a line if you've any questions or need any further info - either now or nearer the time. Cheers Scott |

It does say in the B.A.A. rules no dogs.
But not many folk take any notice of any of there other rules so I wouldn't worry about it, but just thought you should know. Having said that a lot of the Brummy stretches on the Teme have public footpaths running along them so theres not much anyone could say anyway. Hope you have a good stay on the best river Tatty |

no mate I'm not taking my dog fishing with me, christ it's bad enough taking her for a walk, I'm trying to find accommodation that allows you to take your dog.

Can't help with dog friendly places to stay, but do remember that the BAA book can only be purchased from their h.q now, as it is not sold in the tackle shops. You can pay over the phone and they will send you it in the post.
