Now, this is a question which I asking in behalf of my dad. You see I do not often use floats and if I do it's always on stillwaters/big lakes and for carp or tench and I always use bodied wagglers. When I'm after yours truely I use feeders 90% of the time and ledger the remaining 10%. In fact, to be honest, floats and rivers seem to be a mine-field to me.
So here's the question, what float would cover your basic approach to barbel fishing on rivers.
