Has anyone read this article in this months CAT??
Thought that it was a fantastic read and i learnt alot from it, though there was one bit that let me thinking.
Terry says that when he is fishing selectively for a big fish among smaller ones, when the smaller barbs pick up the bait he allows them to move off with it andd spit it out. I just thought though, that if a barb picked a bait up and felt no resistance, surely it would keep hold of it and lead to deephooking??
I am NOT suggesting that Mr Lampard would put the fish in any danger, but it just got me thinking. I know that u can let a chubmoveoff with it because as soon as they feel resistance they drop the bait (have watched them) is this the same with barbel??
Just asking as it sounds a fantastic way to fish and will be giving it a go next summer.....
