Posts: 680 (24/08/05 14:10) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Afternoon Everyone, I have in my shed half a sack of floating green colour koi carp pellets, question is how do I turn them into sinkers without buying one of those pellet pump thingys. With the swimstim green koi pellets being popular with barbel I thought that I would try to use these pellets. Any Idea's please. Best barbel John Look ye also while life lasts.

I done this with a lot of mini dog biscuit and it worked a treat on the Mole. Doug Millwall are like Barbel - Ugly but boy do we fight

I had several ponds and lots of pellets which often had powder and crumbly stuff in the bottom. Realising that, when damp, it made a paste and thought "a wonder bait" ...... Problem was that the pellets were too expensive to use for this extensively. So I'd also try blitzing them and mixing with your other stuff. Ewe will have to be careful that the other ingredients don't mask the flavour otherwise all you'll have added is bulk. paul4

I was just looking on ebay at pellet pumps(cheaper than I thought) but they talk of expander pellets, can these pumps be used for ordinary pellets? Paul, as ewe know I have my open ended feeder mix sorted. Best barbel John Look ye also while life lasts.
