Right then, What was the most unusual gift you or a family member received this xmas.

Not really unusual but a telephone call from my mate telling me of his 13+ yesterday!

I think the credit for this present goes to a number of people, starting on Christmas Eve, with a trip to the Kennet armed with a bottle of sloe gin (2lb 10z perch to my rod, plus a couple of decent chub but no barbel), followed by a pint of delicious warm ale, followed by a drinks party at home involving white wine, red wine, port and champagne.
Then, at the last gasp, a very good friend produced a bottle of brandy. I think that was the most unusual hangover christmas present I have ever had. Joe |

Don't know about the most unusual gift I had, but without doubt my best gift was when my misses came home from town tonight, she happily informed me that I wouldnt have to take her to Tescos tomorrow morning
