Thanks Andy T and all for the congrats. Poor Andy T had to endure the tale last night while at work. Not sure if it was the sound of teeth grinding under the whistle of the wind.
A really good night, first double ever of 10-5 from my favourite swim on favourite stretch of the Ouse. Had three tremendous runs, first one the hook came out just as switched on my headtorch to net, second was the 10-5 third absolutely nothing felt. Action started not long after dark and all went quiet by 9pm. In view of an early start to B'ham this morning had to pack up at 10pm anyway. Two new flavoured dipped boilies used, the one I thought would produce didn't. All the runs were on one rather unusual flavour. No prebaiting of the hookbait has been carried out just introduced some PVA bags with pellets with the hookbait plus a couple of catapulted pouches of pellets around the hookbaits. It always amazes me just how quickly they latch on to new baits. Must make up some more hookbaits up tonight! Ian |
