Now, I'm convinced it must be something to do with the name of the rod - RB = Record Breaker!
Sorry Tommo, and to think I let you put a bend in one of my precious Chimera Specialist 2's. Does this mean a new rod is in the pipeline? Cheers Bob |

Oh dear Oh dear. Jim I think a bloody telegraph pole would be better for Tommo, at least it might last 3 months.

Morning all,
Yes its true, I've broken another rod. Wish I could say it was done whilst landing a big kipper, but I can't Leslies are dealing with it so all credit to them As Jim says its getting expensive, as i somehow broke the top two inches off my Free Spirit Quivertip on Monday too Anyone got any aluminium tubing for sale Thanks for your ahem, comments Tony! And Matt, i wouldn't dare touch one of your works of art, I'd hate to break one Tommo

Tommo,
Want to buy that Martin Bowler Ouse Specialist back? I could offer you a great deal at only a little profit to myself and it sounds as though you might need it You gonna be around on 27th when Liam, myself et al descend? Ian |

Re: argggh | ||

On a serious note..Could there be a fundimental flaw with
the design or construction of that particular make of rod? |

Evenin' all,
Not sure if I'll make the 27th, but will try as I'd love to check your rod out Skid(ooerr missus). Was looking at Rogers ad in barbel fisher, and am seriously considering investing in one, or maybe a chimera specialist Ian, you drive a hard bargain, but I couldn't possibly take the rod off your hands mate I had a long chat with Kevin Crawley re the Insight, and he assurred me they have had no similar problems with any other RB's, and I have no reason to doubt him. For now the I am going to be very careful around ladders, black cats, and storms Tommo
