It seems clear to me that we have a real cross section of barbel anglers on this site, newcomers, old hats, traditional to ultra modern all fishing slightly different methods on different rivers and all methods probably equally effective on their day. But what do you really think makes a good barbel angler?
I know that this might take time to think about and i dont expect too many replies given the nature of the question, but if you have time, i think it would make good and interesting reading for all of us members.
