Mike,
I have been waiting for someone to comment on that "little mishap". Obviously you are a 'sharper barbeller' than the the two ronnies, aka dick and dorf!!  The jury is still out on the rod, and i will write an update as soon as the cause of the break is established!!!  Tommo |

i think "the heavy hand of the law" may have had something to do with it mike

Seriously though, where was the break? I've got one too which i rate highly. I think you had two if i'm not mistaken as i was thinking of doing, but... Is there a guarantee under such circumstances, I assume it broke under normal duress? Kris |

Evenin' all,
Glad I'm keeping you all amused, with my little erm, mishaps, shall we say!!  Kris, Yes I did have two, unfortunately the Wye 'stole' one from me at the end of last season, and I broke the other  It snapped almost clean in twoo, about 3 inches from the spigot on the lower half of the blank. I would say it was under normal conditions. (I certainly didn't drive over it in me motor like some reckless nurverner would )anyway its gone back under the 12 month manufacturers guarantee, and i'm still waiting to hear.... one things for sure, i miss me insights Tommo |

I can happily say that the rod will be back home in a few days, after the manufacturer(s), decided to replace tha broken section. more to follow...........  Tommo |
