Seen everything from tackle and bait, to getting the fish on the hook on here, but never seen any discussion on what everyone does after that, while playing a fish.
I know that to most it has probably become an instinctive act and not easy to describe, but there are quite a few newcomers to the sport, that think pure bullying is the order of the day.
What is the difference between that and skill?.
So what goes through everyone's mind when they hook that fish?.
Does anyone else, like myself talk themselves through it while playing a fish?.
A habit I have never got out of, since boyhood.
Even go as far as talking to the fish sometimes!.
Could be a nice light subject for everyone to confess to.
