At last,my first Barbel 6lb 
z from the Ivel caught last night at 11.30pm.Had the same elation as when i caught my first 40lb carp.Now i can see why you lads have such a passion for these fish.From peace and quiet watching the quiver bobbing to the movement of the current,to the rod nearly being ripped off the rest as the fish charged off downstream like a steamtrain.....bloody magic and well and truly hooked on a new species!
