I caught a fish last night on a boilie cocktail (two different boilies on the same hair rig). Basically I was running short of time and didnt know which boilie to go for so thought what the hell lets try both. It got a bite very quickly.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried this method and if so what were the results? Silk |

I've had alot of luck with whole or half boilie cocktails of esterberry and tuttis for both chub and carp. Oops, this is a barbel board, wash my mouth out, soap and water

I have used boilie cocktails but the same as Pete only when fishing for other species.
Hmmm got some 10 or 12mm Shellfish B5 pop ups. Be back on this when I have had a few sessions ! Cheers

You might not believe this,but whilst fishing the Severn today a freshwater snail impailed itself on the hook.I hair rigged it with a 10mm boilie,cast upstream,and within 30 secs had a classic drop back bite:result 8 08 barbel.Was it because of the snail or boilie?I'm certainly going to scour the rocks when the river drops and seriously try them on there own,there has to be some mileage in it!

Martin you want to try the tidal Trent,there are millions of the buggers there, they give you a good bite and even take meat off the hook!!!!
