Im sure most are well aware of this, if not know a better system, But. Untimely demise of my brolly last night sees me desperate to replace it el rapeedo. Something I intended researching over the dark months ( Closed season )
Desperation sees choices cut to my local tackle shops stock. Which indecently is very good. Except brollies ! I fancied one of this brolly, bivvy cross things, that's out the window, nothing the like in stock. So back to standard brolly. Now the meat, did you know you can get separate, universal attachments for storm poles. These ones are Fox gizmos poorly made and cost the earth, £ 10 a pair. Neatly fix to the outside edge of brolly ribs, secured with a small alan bolt. Then a standard, but more appropriately a strong bank stick with threaded end, screws onto the gizmos, and bank stick in the ground. Gives great support and very adaptable.
I had seen them used, but did not know how they work. I realise Im not as smart as the average Bear. But then if I did not know, some more than average Bears may not.
