I have recently moved to Guildford in Surrey and am desparate to learn of any local Barbel fishing, recommended hot spots, etc.

There are a lot of options in the surrounding areas of Guildford. Your best bet is to speak to Rick at Apollo Angling in Addlestone and get hold of a Byfleet AS membership application. They hold some lovely stretches of the Wey in Byfleet and such. Also consider free fishing on the Thames at Hampton Court and Kingston. The Mole and Ember (Molesey, Esher,Cobham) also offer fish to those prepared to put in the hours. Send me an e-mail if you need more help. Good luck |
