Due to the original thread being lost this has been started again.

Had the ok from Andy to show a link to me an me m8s website. How do I get the link to show as say "our web site", and not www.guyeason.f2s.com/INDEX.htm ??????????? EASY ..you never know, i might suss this one out as well...but im strugglin.

Trying to put an avatar with my username with no success.
Downloaded image to nucite.net where you have to insert image into a folder, how do I now transfer to bfw. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. Len |

Went to a different site and managed to transfer url to my photo box, saved changes but only got a box within a box that had a red cross within it as you can see if you go to the Avatar testing page.

Sorry I have tried and followed tye advice. When I right click on an image I do not get the prompt "view image" to select. What am I doing wrong????

You shouldn't have to add @barbelfishingworld on the end since it should automatically be there - ok where is "there"? If you click on anyone's username in the right hand column on a list of threads, or in the left hand column if you are viewing a thread, you will go to their profile. If they do not have messages disabled then it will say "Send me a message" If you click this you should get straight to the message screen with the full user's name filled in. Are you doing it differently then? paul4 |

what i was doing mate was, when you are in messages there is a button to send a new message, on that you have fill in the user name who you are sending it to, i was just putting in "philbloke" but you have to add @barbelfishingworld.
i realise the other way paul, that is quite straightforward, it's just i was fiddling around with the send message button, when i opened my own profile and then clicked send message, the full address was in there, that's how i realised. |

go to your inbox, under the dropdown menu for inbox or trash is "send a new message" click on that and just type in who want to send a message to...
