Any idea of the river levels tonight? Some serious rain coming down round here, but I live away from the river so don't know what effect it will have for tomorrow and the weekend. Dave

Upstream of the bridge a very very large tree has rotted through and fallen into the river!! It covers an area of about 20m2 and is from bank to bank! Anyone got any theories as to how this might affect the fishing? In terms of fish spooking and moving away from certain areas when the tree fell in? Or if it will affect their movement up and down the river? Does it need removing by the club responsible i.e. Middlewich? Plus if there was no one around when the tree fell did it actually make a sound?
