Just received the Winter warmers catalogue from Fishtec and they have what looks like some good deals on Greys Specialist twin tip 1.25/1.75tc £59.99 rrp
119.99 and the ever reliable Greys specimen twin tip 1.5/2.0tc £59.99 rrp 119.99 not sure what they are like as a company but that seems cheap.....Cannot find
these offers on the web so I guess you will have to ring.........+ they have gifts on offer for the amounts you spend over 75 you get a power free spool reel
over 125 you get a hooded fleece....Anyone know how good a company they are???

Shippo Thats M Hayes's Co if I'm not mistaken. I've purchaed a few things from there and had no problems. I had a pair of boots they replaced for me when eyelets broke without any quibble. Some good bargains as you mention but some are quite expensive look at the Shimano 5000CTEC

i've had a few dealings with them over the last couple of weeks and I'm going to give you a warts and all review
I tried ordering 3 items in 48 hours all of which were out of stock despite still being advertised. They did offer alternatives at good prices on the bivvy and bed I was ordering so I wasn't massively upset but a little disappointed. The next day I went to order some cloths on the internet, the order went through fine but the next day i got an answering machine message saying the item was out of stock. I saw red as I thought they were just advertising lines out of stock in attempt to switch sell you to another item. Very naughty I thought so I rang and complained. I got put through to a supervisor straight away and explained what I thought of their organisation. The woman (angela I think) was absolutely spot on, very understanding of my complaint and said she would ring me back with an alternative offer within the hour. Got a call back within 20 mins with a fantastic amount of gear for £99 and also the promise they would get my stuff to me asap including the bivvy & bed chair order which was still on their system having been placed a day or two earlier. Next morning I'm woken at 8am by a courier with my entire order. In conclusion I went from being very #$*%@@ off customer to being amazingly happy with what i can only describe as one of the best examples of customer services I've ever recieved. |

My lad bought himself one of Fishtecs quiver rods, which he then proceeded to snap one of the tips (his fault) After a couple of calls, they replaced the
tip FOC along with a Matt Hayes signed baseball cap
Never, never let your gun, pointed be at anyone. That it may unloaded be, matters not the least to me.

great all year barbel rod is the specimen , 1.5lb for NSL and the 2lb tip for the floods
female barbel are easily distinguished by their nagging, on their way in to the net

Deal with Fishtec with , they are a top outfit with a good reputation. they are well known in the game fishing world and have been around for quite a while taking on coarse gear in the last 5 or 6 years. Matt Hayes' TFG range is now one of their main lines but they do loads of others and frequently have some massively discounted end-of-line offers. Grab yourself a bargain. |

Bought from Fishtec on ebay. Great service.
Also, you can view the sale catalogue online. Takes a bit of time to load up.http://www.fishtec-coarse...arse_VirtualCatalogue.cfm but the Greys offer doesn't seem to be there.

I tried for a Fox Easy Dome at £89.99 at 10am yesterday morning - sold out! They did offer the TFG bivvy but I have heard bad reviews.
Maybe they offer TFG alternatives for everything. If you are an ex customer, keep an eye out for the 20% off voucher - that is definately worth having. If an item is in stock they are very good, as is their customer service. |

I have used them quite a bit, mostly for Game and fly fishing bits and never had a problem, delivery is alway spot on, next day etc. On the very few occaisions
I have ordered stuff (offers) and been told that they are out of stock I have been offered a similar or better item for same money. ie ordered 50m spools of
flurocarbon, out of stock so got 100m spools for same price!!!!!
Can't argue with that.

I bought a pair of Intruder carp rods last year, £30 each, spot on, used them for Tench in the close season, perfect for method feeder, ordered at 14.00,
delivered at 08.00 next morning for free.............have had a fair bit of game gear in the past too, always been spot on..........I did see the winter
warmers last night, pity the Greys rods have gone, good buy for someone who wants them.
