hi darren,just got back from ibsly,as paul maybug was fishing there.he did see a couple of big barbel which he phoned me about,but when i got there they had
gone[i wonder why]so i might not start the season till august 1st.

Had a glorius blank today but at least as derek said i spotted a couple of good fish and had a go for them but to no avail . Was good to see them flitting
across the gravel from underneath the weed . I never get tired of spying on them
 unfortunately they werent interested in my offerings so i left them with a
hand ful of freebees and will be back tomorrow

Paul - When you call someone up these days days the phone go "wring wring"?
Not a lot came out the Royalty today with only a few very small fish being caught (around 2lb ish). |

hi,1st of august-1st october
1st feb-14th march. there can also be changes to those times if the river is in flood,as it can be shut,until the water subsides.so its always better to phone them first in those conditions.as i live 5minutes from there,i can take a look to see what its like.ringwood tackle will also have the latest news on the fishery. derek. |

Does anyone know how the royalty is fishing? i know it ws slow on the first couple of days but has it picked up? i am down there for a week from monday and i

Hi Bazza & Portishead just had 3 hours on Royalty after work its fished quite well today heard of about ten fish at least 2 doubles mainly static fishing i
missed 2 pulls rolling meat still rusty after close season!

Most of the fish seem to still be up in the compound, had one of 9Ib from the road bridge area the day before though.
