Day-ticket on the Avon? | ||

I'll be visiting relatives in Brockenhurst this summer and would love to fish the Avon. If anyone could spare the time to recommend day-ticket stretches
that would be worth fishing (Barbel would be my main target) it would be much appreciated. It would be for one day only, so my chances would be pretty slim,
but you've got to give it a go if you get the opportunity!

Or Lifelands, just above Ringwood, run by Christchurch angling club, day tickets available from both tackle shops in Ringwood. Hope this helps you, good luck. John |

Thanks for the link John. The last time I fished in Hampshire was at Sway Lakes (before it was syndicated) and caught a 19lb+ common. That too was for one day
only. If I were to be that lucky again...!
