Tight lines to all who are lucky enough to call the Severn their home water,.
And to all you traveling and holidaying anglers, enjoy our bit of paradise, our beautiful Sabrina, but please don't abuse her, if your chosen swim is full of litter left by those of low intelligence then do all of us a favor and clean it up before you start, I promise you will enjoy your fishing more in litter free surroundings. 
Lets all try to make the 08/09 season the one where we turn the corner on the only thing which lets our river down. And will someone please break that ruddy record.

I know for a fact that last year a 17lb 6oz barbel came out of the lower, but due to the syndicates tight publicity ban it was never claimed, the fish itself
was marked near its right cheek with a dark patch, so it will be easily recognised if caught again
