Hi Kev. Great Idea but bear in mind its taken me 20 years and still counting to get my first Evenlode barbel!!
It would be easy if you could (1) Find some Barbel to fish for (2) See The Bottom of the river thru the murk (3) Remove about 10 million signal crays (4) Persaude the Otters to fish elsewhere! Great fun trying though but the blanks wear you down... Maybe this season will be the one! Are you creeping about on the Windrush this year?? |

I'm seriously considering creeping around a certain stretch of the windrush tonight! This water should have a few feeding!
