If it does`nt break the first time I use it , I would be very grateful for any help on suitable lines. I have always been a ledger man but I am determined to try the trotting before I go completely blind. be lucky all !!

I cant fault maxima, I use it for roach at 2 lbb/s, wagler and topper fishing at distance in 3 lb up to 5lb, I normally stick with 5 lb for my barbel fishing as well. Just give it a liberal coating of line floating sprey and your away. River angler's go with the flow.

Chris you can use any line you like as long as you spray a silicone based spray ( like furniture polish ) or one of the many floating line sprays they sell in the tackle shop !!!!!!
