Any ideas how to fish this stretch in the summer rigs etc

They catch a fair number on pellet feeder. Open ender filled with pellet mush, or however you prefer to fish the pellet.
When the river had a few extra feet on I had a fair bit of success with larger-than-average boilies and peices of meat. Pretty much standard stuff really - plenty of fish to go at so as long as they are feeding(!) its not too difficult to catch a couple. |

I take your point. I live just over the road, you have to queue for the good spots, parking is a nightmare, long walks, there's litter everywhere,
EE's, stella-heads, doggers...
Not as good as it used to be either, but you could say that about all the lower...
