I hope there aren't any more stages after stage 3!!!
I wouldn't want to make the local papers for all the wrong reasons.....

So far general results seem pretty sparse to date, despite recent increased water levels
How's it looking now, as I fancy a run down there in the next day or so? Surely they must be getting hungry by now? Any info would be appreciated. Regards Roger Ps I know that Simon ('Walkers Pitch') wasn't very optimistic last time I spoke to him. |

Now that i am in receipt of my Vauxhall book, i am going to have alook at the river for the first time, hopefully on Saturday.
Are some stretches better than others? i would be grateful for any pointers as this is the start of a new chapter in my fishing career, and i'm a relative barbel novice. I think have a fast learning curve ahead of me........ |

Is anybody going to be on the river this weekend?
I'm certainly going to have at least a look, maybe a few hours fishing, i'd love the opportunity to pick some brains....... anything to improve my chances..... |

went to the Walker book signing at Simon's shop [Walker's Pitch] and fished the Ivel while there, river at normal winter level with sligth tinge of
colour. Just one roach of 1lb 9oz for the efforts though it did put up one hell of a scrap on the barbel gear
