I use the same stuff plus I use Snyde as well. Both good lines in terms of abrasion resistance and good knot strength but even with the best will in the world its not going to last a full season. You get snagged, the line gets nicked, stretched and rubbed by rocks etc through the fishing season so I change mine every 3 months or sooner if I have been fishing snaggy swims. It does curl though and I cannot explain why. Even when its new on the spool I've caught fish and then noticed that when the line is slackened off it has been very curly although the fishing has not been affected by it at all. Julian
