Did anybody see the programme on the Wye last night?
I thought it was absolutely stunning. Superb camera work and music and it was great listening to the 4 people involved. Never take 'our' river for granted boys. Hope you all catch opening weekend, I won't, I'm going carp fishing! Martin Tommo, I'd like to have seen you at Hay, I answered your post on the CYates thread. |

Hi Mart,
Were you at the front right hand facing the stage? If so, I was a row or so behind you on the left. Small world!! Last nights programme was excellent. Both the wife and I were enthralled. Not sure about going a whole season for a blank though Aureo hamo piscari

Yes I was. Can't believe we missed each other, weird.
I asked the question about the Redmire monsters. The programmes repeated on Sunday at 4.30 ish, I shall watch if I'm back from the lake, before I play squash. Do you fish the Wye much now? I'll be out after them barbel next week. Mart |

Not sure how much I'll be on the Wye this season Mart. Had a good season last year with a couple of doubles and a fair few nines and eights.
This season I'll probably be mainly on the Teme (early on) and Lower severn. Aureo hamo piscari

Tried an evening session and OMG the mother of all thunderstorms raged about me. The water was driving down had to give up in the end lol The surface water flooding down the sides of the hills were rivers in themselves never seen the Bibs like that before Brian The years teach much which the days never knew

Hello
Am travelling down to fish your lovely river this weekend at Bredwardine on the Red lion stretch. Any tips and best places to fish would be greatly appreciated. Also river levels would be handy following the downpours lastnight. Cheers and tightlines to all Mike |

Hi Mikeuta
In Tintern it is about 3ft up and coloured like cocoa. It could be absolutely perfect next week in Bredwardine. Good Luck Paul |
