I don't think people vote for the biggest fish everytime, but what they consider to be the most notable capture. I was particularly impressed that the
Great Ouse fish was landed on 5/6 lb line whilst fishing for chub!

Have to agree with Mr Martin. I really don't care if the guy was fishing for dace. Even with the information, the catch is more notable if it's
deliberate.

my dove fish was 16-05 not 16-10,the fish i had sept was 16-10,my vote goes 2 the river record fish,good lookin fish and the best in that river,can't do any better than that 4 me, regards jim |

Personally had to vote for Jim's Dove beauty. It kinda caps what must be a memorable season of huge Barbs for him.....not that its over yet by a long shot.
I must say that the Ouse fish is quite simply a stunning specimen! The best looking Barb I have ever laid eyes on!! |
