I managed to get on for a few hours yesterday evening, it was 5-6' up and still rising. Found another angler in one of my favourite high water swims, he'd had 3 fish in the last 2 hours, all 5-6lbs.
Started fishing about 20.30 but only a few chub rattles in the first 2 swims. Managed a 5lber on 22mm halibut at 22.30 in a run where a few fish were rolling. Expected more but it didn't happen. At least I'm off the mark!

Old enough to know better....young enough not to care!
just call it a bad day at office. Lost a few of my swim feeders i had off steve. But its always hit and miss and i think my bait had b/o or some thing
