if u r the guy that took the snail to the press own up to where you got it from. steve. intellectual property can still be stolen but only if u claim it as

sorry for being vague an raf lad recently took an idea of mine to the angling press the idea was to fill a washed up snail shell with paste it does work.i gave
him the tip when he was struggling to catch i was somewhat upset to see him pictured in angling times as the snail expert. and also for him to recieve
recognition for something he had not done he knows who he is and i didnt even get a thank you .it does not encourage idea sharing to promote fish captures i
will be more carefull in the future

Hay- that was my idea- tho I used garden snails. Even made a foul slug/snail boillie that really messed up the blender- Batman- like all angling tips- its been
done before. And it did make for a good article.
And before you slay me- I'm not the man in the AT- never heard of him. Oh and I invented the wheel! |

I could have have sworn I saw this snail tip on one of the Sky angling programs a little while back? Wasn't paying much attention though so couldn't
tell you which one but probably something like Carp Crew or Lake Escapes?

I was using lamprey paste today, among other things, mostly unsuccessfully...
...reeling in the hookbait and with a bit of paste still visible I saw a big chunk of shell exposed. Stripey, like a snail's shell. Could it be? If so seems you can put snail shell in your paste, as well as paste in your snail shell....

Apparently they can cause convulsions in fish as they give off a poisonous substance.... And ya don`t want that!!.... |
