Went out this morniing,to Sprotborough,one bite,one fish,8lb exactly.new PB.I've met the lad who claimed the 12,he had the next peg,a couple of weeks back.He had a cameraphone picture,it certainly looked a big fish,I think details were in the Doncaster paper,if you want to know exactly where

Bigjim if you where referring to Binner he is a personal mate of mine AND he does know the Queens language he just chooses to write like that, maybe you are showing your ignorance!!!
Anyway he was right about the seal he sent me a txt to say the seal was there so i called down while he was there and the seal did appear while i was there and heres a pic to prove it ![]() Adie |

Nice to hear of barbs coming out of the Don. Spent a good part of my youth (early to mid sixties) down there and the only thing that you could catch was an STD.

Hello All. I fished at Sprotborugh yesterday. A most pleasant morning session. 2 Barbel both just over 6lb, and a 2lb bream. Water temp just over 7 degrees , but air temp around 1pm hit 19.1 degrees , A rather balmy start to february.

me and aide1200 went yesterday and struggled in donny, just a small pike each and a few bits, but aide did get a bream around 3lb while trying to catch bait fish, i never had a sign of any barbel |

Hi Andy the river has about 4 or 5 foot of extra water in as of 10am this morning,
I think it will have dropped 1 or 2 foot by tomorrow I hope so cos me and Binner are going to sprotbrough tomorrow Adie |
