currently spending a few days with my dad in sheffield thought i would wet a line caught lots of barbel between 1lb and 6lb a nice sign for what was once little more than a flowing rubbish tip.

out again today 1 of 9lb and lots of small barbel plus a few chub aswell top fishing spot

hi hendersons,im from sheffield too,ive found some decent roach swims and the occasional chub but havent had no luck in locating some barbs

I'm a Don & Dearne man myself. Mainly chub on the fly, but I'm just getting back into coarse fishing again. Maybe I'll see you guys on the bank

River Don and Dearne are two of my favourite rivers i fish them with Binner now and then Had some nice Barbel out of the Don this year Not got one from the Dearne yet, But its just a matter of time Tight Lines to you All Adie |
