Hi Can anyone give me any general info for the keynsham area as Im likely to be working there in the near future. No detailed swims or anything just day ticket etc and does it run round the Cadburys factory? Thanks Brian Do not miss the donut by looking through the hole

Brian,Yes it does run past the cadbury`s factory and its on the Amalgamated anglers ticket.

Had a look last saturday and there were a few small fish up the brook but not many to be honest,if we don`t get some decent weather soon i think they will still be at it on opening day.

Hi all, had a short session this morning 4-30 to 8-30. No Barbus i'm afraid ! Just one Chub first cast, about 2 1/2lbs. My friend had a Chub about 4lbs but no Barbel either. Good luck all.

Fished this afternoon around 1130 till 1600, had an eel, a few bits and pieces and a lovely 8lb Barbel, great start to my season, was my first on the 'pin aswell!!! Hope y'all had a good one too!

Fished from midday to 9:30pm. The drizzel didn't make it one of the best opening days, yet it was good to by the river again. I kept being munched by horseflies; the buggers!
Managed a few chub, which are always welcome in my book, but had to wait until 9pm for a barbel (approx 5lbs). I was most pleased! Managed to get back in time for a few pints and a chinese; all in all not a bad day. James |
