Probably a question that's been asked before but was going bog-eyed looking through the archives. To cut a long one short, i live in Plymouth and although i try to do a bit of Barbel fishing throughout the year, i don't go often enough really to know anyone who could give me some genuine advice (as opposed to sales pitch) on what would be the best chair for Barbelling. It wouldn't have to be reclining but obviously would need adjustable legs, but most of all i'd like it to be as light as possible and sturdy (my nickname at work is glassback). My current chair is a Nash Outlaw but it weighs in at 10lb and at my age i need to reduce that if i can. I'm sure lots of other people would benefit from advice on this one and i reckon Barbel anglers are probably the best guys to ask.
Not too bothered about the price because i do tend to look after my gear and will probably get my money's worth in the end. I'm currently looking at the Nash Nomad and the Chub Lo-Lite. Any info would be appreciated.
Great Site boys and girls. Take care and good luck for the new season.
Pete
