The only question you need to ask yourself about pellets is are you getting value for money? In truth take away the packaging and the magazine adverts and in some cases greed you have very much the same product but with different price tag. For instance Teme and Severn Pellets I can buy the same thing for the same price elsewhere but recieve 2.5kg more

I use Elips pellets from hinders of swindon, buy them by the big tub, it's a good saving, the salmon sinkers work well too as hookbait over standard elips feed. Indulgence spicy chicken works well especially if soaked in Indulgence spicy chicken dip. Try 3RB baits too (boilies, nuggets and dip), had a lot of success with them last season.

Re: what pellets | ||

dunno mate how many days are in a month?? see I was thinking there were 4 weeks 6 days left which would be 34 days, which could be 1 month 4 days, 1month 3 days or 1 month 6 days if it were febuary, but it's may, 31 days, so does that make it 1 month and 3 days

Re: pellets | ||

I had some success with Browning Cyber pellets last year (halibut and krill pellets). They are a different shape to the norm - flattened - like a Rowntrees fruit pastille. This makes them very easy to glue together on a hair, the two pellets then being more of the conventional pellet shape. The Krill pellets break down faster than the halibuts, and both break down slightly faster than conventional halibuts, but you can get more than an hour out of them once immersed and I caught up to four fish on the same bait. The Krill pellets were very good on their own, or as a combo, glued to a halibut pellet. And yes, the Krills are a pinky colour!

Try my mates website for some seriously cheap pellet. He does more than he lists on his site so best giving him a ring.
Just for reference 25 Kg's trout pellet for £20. Bloodworm and Hemp £30. If you go through my site you also get a 10% discount or higher for bigger orders. Giles. The Bait kitchen (my mates site) NSA (Northern Specimen Angling) My Site. |
