Seem to remember a Junior day was being talked about a while ago, did anything get done.

D.Wingfield, Out of interest, are the Barbel Society officials and helpers on the Junior days police checked and qualified coaches? Thanks Phillip

You're right about the Barbel society junior days. I've been a few, they're very well organised and have been a credit to Phil and his team. Really looking forward to attending some this year. It's good to see that the Barbel society is forward thinking enough to invest in the river anglers of the future. Phil lip Have a look on the B.S. forum, there's a list of junior days, training sessions for the tutors and information on CRB checks etc. Hope this puts your mind at rest. |

There has never been that many youngsters posting, I get a fair few emails from kids asking this and that but apart from that not a lot.
Of course there was that Loddon fish in when Ron Chant's lad came along and outfished everyone on a bitterly cold snowing day with a 6lb+ chub. Hmmm maybe best if we kept this idea quiet  Cheers

Come on lads are we going to organise a junior day.
I'm sure I saw somewhere that Chris has offered his fishery to the BS. Why not offer it to us instead Chris. Surely there seems enough people on here to help out. If the BS can do surely we can aswell. |
