A landing net pole, I got this by going to a tackle shop having a look at a few and picking the one I liked best.
To this I screw a landing net, again I got this by going to my local tackle shop having a look at a few and picking the one I thought fitted my needs best. |

My exclusive range of nets | ||

I realise some folk think it immoral to promote their own commercial products on BFW but I strongly recommend my own range of PVA nets. The beauty is that after you've attempted to land a fish they are much lighter to carry back to the car!

YG get a 30"+ with good strong arms and soft mesh, a carp style triangle is what you want. My bro uses a Fox Stalker telescopic handle, its the biz so I am waiting for my local dealer to get new stock. The handle needs to be strong and the screw fitting has to be well attached not just rammed in the end of the pole. These match style handles and nets are no good, anything over 8lb will either snap them or fall apart, plus you need it big enough to get your beasts into.
Ere Slip do you do PVA hooks too? I recon they would be super fish safe :-) |

Sorry - after a flood at the warehouse my PVA hooks are out of stock! After some complaints from the Child Benefits office I have also discontinued my PVA c#nd#m range!

Young Gun, I think you should have better things to be thinking about then landing nets at your age. It's what you could be doing with them that should be on your mind

Talk to colin in Premier Angling www.premierangling.com/ in Chippenham I would go for a 32" to 36" triangular net with a spreader block also a min of 9 to 10ft handle as the banks of th BA can be quite steep in places if your looking to fish this summer my son Jamie fishes a bit if you would like some guidence around that neck of the woods we would be more than glad to help...clive

the middy net is great, but I thought I only paid £20 for it. I'd shop around.
