Just noticed this programme in Radio Times - Avon fishers (and others) might be interested to know that Charlie Dimmock is walking along the Avon from Somerley Estate - tonight on Meridian at 7.30 pm. Haven't seen this series yet, but might be worth a look.

carn't see that in thames region,however i have just seen the club i'm with at moment near heathrow with a well known club member featured.

hi all,have just watched it,must say i enjoyed the first half more,and then i wondered why she didnt walk the rest of it,because she finished at ringwood,then next minute she was at christchurch and the sea,of course the rest of the river from ringwood down to christchurch is not somerley estate,not bad though.derek.

I thought that as a walk along the river, it was a pretty poor programme.
The problem would be of course that the Avon Valley footpath does not run particularly close to the river except in a couple of places. Charlie looks like she needs a few good walks. |

hi,dave if you have sky you can get all regions,on your remote press services,then other channels and there is all the regions listed.cheers derek.

I recorded it too Derek, but I don't think I'll be keeping the tape for posterity - not enough of the river - not really encouraged to view again for later episodes.

got sky digital(non subscribe) still cannot work it out,what channel is it. as to what you said,all i get is TO INCLUDE CHANNELS WHICH ARE NOT PART OF SKY,PRESS SERVICES AND CHOOSE SYSTEM SELECT ADD CHANNELS,which i did and all i got freqency,polar and all that.....  there is a list but no other itv regions. dave.
